1992 Toyota Corolla Engine trouble

It just started today, the car idles fine but with any amount of gas, reving it up, it misses kinda, it doesnt seem like a normal miss though, when you shift through the gears while taking off it looses power and feels like its missing, I changed the plugs and that didnt help, its really weird.

You will need to check fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge. This model Toyota with a 4AFE engine requires a special fitting to replace the cold start valve on the fuel rail in order to test fuel pressure. Most likely only Toyota would have this fitting.

Check the fuel pressure regulator for gas in the vacuum line, if present, then replace the FPR.
While it could also be the ignitor, I would start with fuel pressure.
It would not hurt to remove and clean the throttle body and IAC.

If this is a California car it is equipped with EGR, and the EGR valve may be bad.

Other possibilites include a partially clogged CAT, you would need a CAT backpressure test to confirm this, or a visual inspection of CAT, with front exhaust pipe removed.
