Engine won't crank over?

Hi. Turn key and hear a small click. Car doesn't even attempt to start. Battery is good. Headlights are strong, dome light and radio work. I am assuming the starter solenoid but need a professional opinion. Thank you.

Hi there,

Yes I agree with you own diagnosis of the starter. The click is the solenoid energizing but the contacts are not making a good connection to energise the starter, get the starter over hauled to solve your problem.
