I have an 89 toyota celica and I no longer have the key. The steering wheel is locked and I cannot steer the car. I was wondering how to bypass this problem without getting a new key.

Hi there,
the steering lock and ignition key assembly are all part of the same mechanism, the ignition switch is attached to the rear of this, you will have to remove the steering wheel and trims, the lock it fitted with tamper proof bolts that will have to be drilled out to remove the lock.
