My keyless remote stopped working on my Camry. Neither remote will unlock doors, trunk lid, or operate the panic button. I took it to the dealership yesterday and the diagnosis was a body control module for keyless entry. The cost for the repair and labor is $2,000. The extended warranty that I purchased will not cover this item. I feel like I need a second opinion even though I was told the remotes were recoded to no avail. What is your opinion? I've been told to challenge the warranty company (which is not Toyota). Can you think of anything else it might be?
Thanks for your help.

If you do not want to reaplace the keyless entry that you have or you have been informed that it will cost too much. Your other option is to take it to a place like Freemans Car Stereo and it cost @$100 to replace the remote or about the same to replace the entire unit. If you go through the dealership, you will be overcharged, unfortunately.

Good luck.
