My engine light came on. All seems to be running ok. Anything serious? Should I take it in?

Hi there,

The light is a visual warning that a fault code has been set in the ECU. It would be wise to get the code read and investigate the cause, it is no good speculating on what is at fault untill the code is known.

Won't hurt to bring it in and have the OBD2 scanned for code/s the computer has recorded a code and might be something even though its running pefect.

When the check engine light comes On its telling that's something is amiss within the engine management system.
