1995 Toyota Camry my vehicle's gears wont engage

Transmission problem
1995 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi...I have a 1995 toyota camry 2.2l i just did a recent motor replacement swap on it and everything works the only problem is my car wont engage into drive the car cranks over and the idle is good and strong...it will shift into drive...but itll just stay in neutral...im wondering what it my be???...it does shift and all electricals work it just wont drive...please help!!!

Hi there,

Check the fluid level, check that the transmission is actually selecting drive, check that the torque converter is bolted up, check drive shafts are engaged into trans axle fully, start here.
