When you go to start the motor you have to pump the gas pedal for it to start and run. Runs fine after it is started. Turn off the motor will not start unless you pump the gas pedal.Do you think the fuel filter is the problem?

On an EFI system you shouldn't do that-test the coolant temperature sensor and also check the fuel pressure

It doesn't matter if the motor is cold or warm. have the same problem. I know you should not have to pump the pedal to get it to run with EFI After it starts I drove 20 miles no problem. Turned the motor off, had to pump the pedal to start again. What should the pressure be? where do i check? Is there a in-line fuel filter?

The fuel pressure should be 38-44psi
