1991 Toyota Camry something popped now my brakes are squish

Brakes problem
1991 Toyota Camry 6 cyl

I came to a hard stop and something popped. Now I have to put the brakes to the floor to stop. Also heard a smaller pop after and sounded like something fell off.

Check the clutch master cylinder and clutch slave.

The cars automatic, do they also have clutch master cylinders?

The clutch master cylinder is mounted on the firewall and the slave is at the transmission. It'll look like below
