Hi there,
Look at the alternator, it is mounted by a large bolt at the top and on the bottom there is an adjuster, this has 2 bolts, one on the side which is the lock bolt and the front one is the adjuster, you need to loosen the top pivot bolt first, then loosen the side lock bolt then the adjuster can be backed off, this swill allow the alternator to swing down nd loosen the belt, to re fit reverse the process and make sure that the top and side bolts are tight when completed, tensioning the belt is a matter of feel, but if you press done on the belt you want about 5mm deflection, and if it squeals when started it will need a touch more tension.
