Hello, I have a 97 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 with 179,000 V-6. The idle when started (cold or hot) is between 1600 and 1800 rpm. I have replaced the throttle position sensor. This helped for a short time, but the fast idle is back and I can't get it to come down. I have also cleaned around the throttle plate thinking it was gummed up. Any suggestions?
