ABS issues after remote start/security install

I have a 2005 Toyota 4Runner. 67,000Km V6 Auto.
Friday I had an Autostart 2 way remote start/security system installed. Subquently when pressing the brake I now hear the ABS. This happens every second press of the brake pedal. The same sound comes up at ignition.

Took it back on Saturday and they claimed it didn't have anything to do with the install but I suspect an issue in the wiring to the brake lights for the security system crossed into the ABS.

Any suggestions/comments as to what to tell these "professionals" what to look for? This shop was recommended by Toyota dealers.

Just as a test remove the brake saftey wire to the remote starter and see if it eliminates the problem.

The install shop washed their hands of the issue and we took the 4Runner to a Toyota dealer who pulled the wires and the brake pump continued to make the sound.

We then started looking at all the connections and there is uncovered wire connections all over under the dash.

What are the chances of a short causing an issue to the ABS? It can't be a coincidence that after 2 years, it never makes this sound but after an install it does? Tough part is proving it out now.

Getting frustrated and feeling like I'm getting the run around on this.

If they didn't even bother to tape the connections, they aren't a shop, they are Butchers, Ask Toyota mechanic that looked at your truck, if anything grounded out thats not sopposed to? That can cause a heap O trouble!

Well I had all the wiring removed by another installer and guess what the ABS is back to normal. The Toyota security incryption through IDATA wasn't handled properly and resulted in these issues.

Now to go after the first shop for a full refund and my costs of getting things taken care of.

Thanks for all the help.
