I drive a 1995 Toytoa 4-runner. While driving when I reach approx 50-55 MPH it starts to jerk and hesitate. Feels like it is not getting enough gas. Also while idling it feels like it is going to stall out.
I have noticed that it does not have much power going up hill and I do not get very good gas mileage.

Hi delaine00,

Check the spark plugs and related parts for the idling problem and maybe you need to replace the fuel filter to eleiminate the jerking after 55 mph.

Is the check engine light showing while driving? The jerking might be due to the EGR syatem.
