the engine sound likes its working overtime and I don't get there very fast also eating a lot of gas. when I put the gas peddle to the floor for exceleration I don't when going up a hill I loose speed also chuggs at lights

Oxygen sensor
Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
