How long does the timing chain last

In most cases, a timing chain will last the life of the engine. However, they can stretch, tensioners can fail and so on. As far as a specific time or mileage from a maintenance guide, there isn't one.

I'm not sure how many miles are on the vehicle (you indicated 2 million), but as long as it's running good, and you hear no noise from the timing chain area, it should be fine.
