Per Acura when the timing belt is replaced the only parts replaced are the timing belt, [Part# 1400-RCA-A01] the water pump (& coolant) [WP Part# 19200-RDV-J01] and (hydraulic) tensioner [Part# 14520-RCA-A01]

1- Would you recommend replacing (as a preventive measure) the idler pulley [Part# 14550-RCA-A01]and the adjuster [Part# 14510-R9P-A01] or make an evaluation/visual inspection to see if these parts need replacing once you have taken off upper and lower covers?

2-Per an online source for automotive OEM information (ALLDATA) the bolts on the Side Engine Mount Bracket need to be replaced is that something you would do?
Here are the part numbers: [90161-SDA-A01}] (1 bolt required) [90168-TA1-A00 (2 bolts required) [90176-SKN-000] (3 bolts required)

3-Also, per ALLDATA there is a Lower Half of Side Engine Mount Bracket that I can’t find on the Acura schematics as well the bolts on that bracket need replacing, since I can’t find that part on the Acura schematics, I don't know the part number(s) for those bolts, there are three of them. As well would you replace those bolts? I haven't yet taken the vehicle apart to know if this lower half of the side mount exists, I have even called around to an Acura dealer and they don't know what I am talking about.

I will be replacing the parts with genuine Acura parts so I would like to only change the necessary parts, however I would like to do it properly. Please advise.

4-Typically, how much do I need to donate for the questions I am asking? I haven't used a service like this before so pardon my lack of knowledge on this matter.

Thank you.

When doing this job, you want to replace the timing belt, water pump, hydronic tensioner, drive belts and serpentine belt tensioner. Also make sure you use Acura coolant as well. I have attached the procedure here for you as well. As for bolts there is no bolt replacement needed. It’s the same engine as in the MDX video here:

Very glad to help.

If you found this helpful, I would not object to a tip at the Venmo link below lol. I’m here if you need me.

Just checking if you were able to get this job done. Also were you able to donate anything to my link in the earlier reply?
