I am searching for a replacement throttle position sensor for my car but cannot find just the sensor. So my question is, can the sensor come off of the throttle body to be replaced or do I have to replace the whole throttle body?

Welcome to 2CarPros. From the information I can find they do not sell the TPS as an individual part. This is likely because it is integrated into the throttle actuator assembly that is then riveted onto the throttle body as it requires specific tools to install and set the internal parts correctly. Replacement is as a unit with the throttle body.

The latest updated number looks to be L3G213640A for the factory part.
