I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra with a hundred ninety thousand miles. Base model, so manual transmission and no four wheel drive. On the other extreme I'm considering purchasing the vehicle listed above. .

I plan on keeping either vehicle as long as possible. Do you think the truck would be the least expensive to keep going since it is so much simpler?

Would you say a possible clutch for the truck or possible used transmission swap for the car would be about equal in cost?

The Toyota will be cheaper overall. I am sure there are some components that are cheaper but basic maintenance cost is lower and larger items such as a transmission and engine are more expensive on the Lexus. A clutch in the Toyota I would assume is much cheaper but clearly that depends on the cost of the used transmission.

It it were me, I would stick with the truck.
