If the squeak on the vehicle is one of the tensioner bolts to one of the belts on the vehicle, how do I find out to which belt needs tightening up?

Hi,

You are going to laugh at this, but it works. If the belt is always making noise, let the engine run and open the hood. Take a small amount of water and pour it on one belt at a time.

When you get the belt making the noise, you will notice a change in the pitch of the noise, or it may even stop for a few seconds.

Let me know if this helps. Also, keep in mind that water may spray back at you, so protect your eyes and wear old clothes.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care and Happy Thanksgiving.

Joe
