After driving for about 10 -20 minutes, the TCL off light comes on. What causes this and how is it fixed?

Hello,

This means there is a problem with the ABS and traction control which will be one of the wheel speed sensors mostly likely but to be sure lets run the codes. Check out the video below.

Please run down this guide and report back

Cheers

Do you think it can be the ABS's sensors. They have four, one in each wheel, right?

I am sorry for not responding promptly, If it is not head gasket, would be the temperature sensor. Thanks

This is the traction control system which is now off. You may have a problem with a wheel speed sensor, this will often affect the ABS as well. Here is a video to help you see which wheels ensor is out.

if you don't have a scanner here is a guide that will show you how to test the wheel speeds sensors

Please let us know what you find.

Hello HMCAC 300. Several months ago I contacted you about the TCL lights coming on and off. I continue to have the same problem, and now it turns and car on and off, even when I am driving. So, yesterday I scan the car for possible problems again. This is the result and I need your help, please. This the code P1102 - Traction Control Ventilation Solenoid Circuit, which indicates that with the engine running for a predetermined period of time the PCM detected the T/C ventilation solenoid motor failed the Comprehensive Component Monitor rationality test.
The Code went further to tell me that: The Traction Control Diagnostic Trouble Code 72 or 73, "Vacuum/Ventilation Control Solenoid Circuit System"may set and the TCL light may come on, due to excessive ignition signal interference affecting the voltage in the TCL solenoid valve harness. This may also cause MFI DTC P1101 or P1102 to set in the PCM. To eliminate this condition, install a noise filter in the wiring harness at the distributor connector.

Check what is in the pic for cause but it may be a bad pcm also check green stripe vacuum hose leading to it for being broken or leaking both the solenoid and valve are at back left rear of engine compartment both of these are for the engine running not the TCL a mechanic has to scan for codes for that an auto parts scanner will not pic up any TCL codes. Also in Future post this question not as a reply thanks.

Thank you HMAC 300. So you do not think that I should install the Noise Filter first. That I should check your recommendation first. Sir, I am so confused, I had spend a lot of money, different mechanic had tell me different things. And the problem remain the same. Again thank you Sir
