Can you get a recording of the noise while idling and then raise the RPM a couple times so that we can hear what happens when you raise the RPM?
Then we are going to need to drain the oil and look for metal in the oil pan.

If there is metal in the oil then we have bearing damage and the noise is a rod knock most likely.
