tail light lens not matching up with the body side

Have this truck an i bought some really cool aftermarket tail lights for it then put them on and they look great but the body line and the edge of the tail light don't match up. The top looks perfect but the bottom is tucked in about 1/8" is there a way to shim them or what can i do?

how do they mount? if from the back put some washer s in there for shims behind light where it bolts or if screwed in from side oblong hole if you can to correct the problem.

It bolts from the inside behind the tailgate.

us a couple of washers or one whatever it takes to make it fit right.
