1992 suzuki sidekick 51961 miles 1.6L 8 valve engine. No injector pulse. Car quit while running and will not start. mechanic says not injector itself. fuses are good. What drives this injector and where is it located? What might other causes of failure be? Thanks

Have the PCM scanned. The injector drivers are in the PCM, but the PCM gets signal from other things such as cam and crank position sensors, Mass Airflow Meters.. etc.If there is a problem the PCM might have stored a code that will help you start in the right direction

If no pulse signal is received, the problem is probably in the computer-control system
