2006 Subaru WRX 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual
My WRX's CEL came on so I had it scanned. It came back with a few numbers all relating to a secondary air pump valve malfunction. Since the dealership wanted almost $600 to fix it, I was wondering how technical of a job it is to locate the pump and fix it myself. I've scoured the internet with help on this and have really found nothing. My local library only has the older chilton manuals so I haven't looked at one for my year but I couldn't even find anything in those that related to the air pump. Is this too big a task to take on myself? I've worked on many cars before but of course the new ones can be a nightmare. If so, could you please point me in the direction of where I can find info or pics of this thing? I really appreciate any feedback I get.
Thanks,
Dallas
