I had a transmission bearing replaced, but it was not shimmed. 10 days later, it had same symptons and I took it in and they replaced the same part but this time it was shimmed. If the part was not shimmed, even though the transmission diagram did not show a shim, could this make the transmission bearing to become defective?
the part number is 806255010

What symtoms did it have? vas ther a vibration or something else? What bearing was replaced? I don't see a bearing going in 10 days unless there is something throwing it out of allignment. Get back to me with the symtons and the location of the bearing.
