1998 Subaru Outback All Wheel Drive Automatic
My Outback will not stop overheating. I paid a few hundred dollars to get a new radiator and thermostat (he said the radiator was plugged or something?). This fixed the problem for a few weeks but it then started overheating again. Brought it back, he said there may have been some air trapped, he replaced the coolant which he said was low. It worked for another two weeks, overheated again. This time he replaced the new thermostat thinking maybe that was faulty. And it's overheating again. It overheated last week, I filled up the coolant which was empty and it was fine. Today when I stopped to look, the coolant was almost overflowing, fuller than how much I had put in there.
He seemed to not know what was causing the overheating. I can't afford to take it to a new place. Any suggestions?
