Hi, I need to know how do I remove the gear box end of the drive shaft (drivers side) on a 1996 subaru impretza 1.6cc 89,689 miles. I see on the replacement part that there is a hole going through the inner c.v.(gear box end) coupling. is there a pin of some sort retained in this that I need to tap out in order to change this inner c.v. joint (release the inner c.v. from the gear box. I would be very grateful if you could reply today as I'm going to do this tonight 28/04/06. Thank You kindly, Peter Hughes
