1996 Subaru Legacy wagon, 4 cylinders, 84,700 miles
We reinstalled the battery and the hazard lights began to flash. They cycle on and off and flash slowly. We have tried turning the hazard switch on and off, but they continue. They flash more slowly than the regular hazard lights, go off completely and then start again. We tried detaching one terminal and trying again, but the lights flashed as before. Please help with this crazy problem. We have just detached the battery again so as not to run it down. We did not turn any switch or change anything to make these lights go on.
