When referring to a car's left side and right side, what point-of-view is taken?
Isn't the left side the driver's side?

Hi daytona53. Welcome to the forum. You're correct. "Left" is as viewed from the driver's seat. The only exception might be when looking under the hood, but then "left" would be specified "as standing in front of the car" or something like that. Often new parts are specified "left" and "right". This is common for steering / suspension and trim parts.
