1995 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The idler No. 2 disintegrated causing the timing belt to shred. We replaced the belt making sure that the marks were all lined up on the crankshaft and cams. We turned it over and over and it would not run. We made sure the crank was not 180 off. We have 225 compression on cylinder No.1 We have spark at the plugs. We made sure that the fuel pump worked. There is fuel to the other side of the filter. We sprayed starting fluid into the throttle body to try to start it but it would not fire. We do not know if the fuel injectors are firing or there is some sensor knocked out because of the belt going. Is there something we are overlooking?

Little confusion on crank timing mark use makr on trigger wheel not line on crank gear. Key way should point down then mark on trigger will be close to lining up. If you did that then check crank sensor for damage and trigger wheel.
