So, this morning I drop my son off at school and walk him in and when I came out to the car, The ABS, slip and VDC lights were on on the dashboard. The car would not shift out of park. I used the shift release to get the car in gear and get home. There is no power to the navigation, passenger seat, passenger window, radio, air conditioner or interior lights. The brake lights do not work. The headlights, taillights and wipers do work. Strangely, the car will start without pushing the brake pedal. There are two small orange lights one next to park and one next to the manual shift on the gearshift. They stay on when the car is off. The fuses are all good and the brake fluid is at Max. The car starts and runs great once I put it in gear. All the dash lights mentioned above stay on while driving. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
I would like to add that I cannot retrieve OBD II codes because the port has no power. Also, I cannot enter ON or ACC mode because the car starts when I push the power button without the brake needing to be depressed. Very frustrated. Please help.
Regards, Joe Pennington.
