Sticks in reverse

When you put the car in reverse the car feels like it gets stuck in reverse and park at the same time, then if you rock the car back and forth it will pop out, but does it every time you use reverse on the car. If you roll the car backwards first then put the car in reverse it works, but then it sticks up again and you have to go through the whole process again to unstick it. All four gears work well, can you help me please?

It may be valve bdy linkeage. Have a trans shop check it for you to verify

There is a little box on the outside of the transmission, some type of a modulator value or something, could this be the problem?

Clicking, maybe the box is a park/neutral switch
