If it is a factory unit it's very possible it failed internally. The other option would be if the hiring harness or the connector has bad pin fitment or corrosion. What have you tried other than the fuses? And which fuses? Is this a factory unit that came with that car? I ask that because they used a few different units over the years and some are VIN locked and will not operate without being recoded.
