I’ve got a slight issue with my brakes. When I brake at high speeds such as on a motorway or dual carriageway (50+ mph) my steering wheel shakes quite a bit. The higher the speed the more it shakes. But my pads and discs are fairly new, they’re definitely less than a year old so I’m not sure what could be causing this. I’ve Googled the issue and many are saying the discs might be warped? Any idea as to how I could solve this issue? Thank you

Hello,

Yes, I'm pretty sure that your brakes rotors are warped. The remedy for this would be to go to a brake shop and have the rotors trued up or "turned" so that they will be true again or replace them. The brake shop will be able to tell you if the warpage is out of specs or not. I hope that this helps.

Thanks,
Alex
