Starts then shuts off

I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator due to the fact that my truck was not running at full performance. Now it starts and idles but when put in gear it shuts off. I am so frustrated as I have put about $2,000.00 in this and it is still not running right. Please help. Oh, and I cleaned the mass air flow sensor.

Hello, I am Danny.

Quick question first. Is the Check Engine Light on? If so a fault code is stored in your trucks computer. If you do not have access to a code reader/scanner your local auto part stores (Autozone, Pep Boys, O'Reilly's) will check for free. If you get back to us with the code number(s) we will be happy to help. I have attached a tutorial showing what is involved with checking codes. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions.
