Why will the engine not crank after replacing the passenger side cylinder head?

I replaced the cylinder head on the passenger side and did all the basics and it won’t crank over.

The first thing i would do is use a beaker bar on the front of the engine at the balancer bolt to see if the engine can be rotated by hand. You might have a bolt in a cylinder which will not allow the engine to turn over.
