Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.
Everything you described sounds like a dead battery or weak battery. If the battery worked when it was installed, something tells me the alternator is not working.
I am going to provide a couple links. The first one discusses how to check a battery. The second one discusses how to check an alternator. It is a very simple task. You will need a volt meter. I will attach a link on how to use one.

Do this first. If you determine the alternator, let me know and I will get the directions for replacement.
One last thought, check to make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. Here are directions:

If you feel uncomfortable checking the battery, remove it and take it to a parts store and they will load test it for you. Most places will do it for free.
Let me know what you find or have other questions.
Take care,
Joe
