Car cranks up and starts cold only when holding and feathering the gas does it stay running. Once it shuts off it will not start again until cold again, and this all happened to the car out of the blue we were driving it. It started out acting like it was losing power kind of like sluggish and then it quit running. Since all of this has happened I have tried the idle control valve and EGR, mass airflow and put on a new external fuel filter as well as a new filter on the bottom of the fuel pump in the tank. So far no luck.

Sounds like it is starving for fuel. I would check the fuel pressure itself. I have seen more than a couple of these cars with bad fuel pumps. It could be losing pressure as it warms up, eventually getting low enough that the engine cannot even hold idle. Here is our how to guide on checking fuel pressure: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

The fuel pressure test kit needed can be borrowed from your local auto parts store with a deposit.

Do that and let us know what you find.
