Stalls at idle?

For a while, the car would rumble occasionally at idle, but nothing would come of it. Recently, it started stalling on its own when idling in a parking lot or drive thru lines. It's stalled 3 times now. When it does, the battery light comes on the dash, but the car starts up like there's no problem. Any ideas before I take it into the dealer?

Hi,

The most common cause is an engine vacuum leak. They can be caused by disconnected hoses, cracked or dry rotted hoses, or leaking gaskets or seals.

This is where I would start.

Here is a link that explains how to locate a leak and repair it:

Also, take a look through this link and let me know if it helps:

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
