Travels and runs fine at highway speeds then stalls at stops and slowing to a stop. Mileage is good. Then it starts right back up with no problem. I don't know what else might be relevant just trying now to get the 200 characters so I can submit this to you.

Does it buck when slowing down? Some makes and models the tcc can cause an issue. Also, clean the throttle-body and idle air system.

Can you check for applicable trouble codes? Some chrysler vehicles in early obd2, you can still check mil codes. Not positive about yours? Can try anyway, turn key just till the dash lites come on further, cycle the key, on--off, on--off, on. Then the mil on the dash starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.
