I need to tighten my alternator belt but I do not know where the tension-er bolt is and what size it is. Please help. Thanks

Hi and thanks for using 2carpros.com

Here is a link that shows how all belts are adjusted on your vehicle. You will need to page down a bit to find the alternator. When you reach it, the alternator is shown away from the mount. However, if you look at the mount, it shows the adjuster.

You will need to loosen the locking bolt / pivot bolt before adjustment. If I recall, they are either a 14mm or 15mm.

Let me know if this helps. Once it is adjusted, make sure to tighten both locking and pivot bolts.

Take care,
Joe
