I just bought the truck it was supposed to just need clutch ended up the transmission case was shattered. Found out that most if not all of the nv3500 had the same issue of the bell house being destroyed. So I got the nv4500 which was a direct bolt up using the same clutch and flywheel. After swapping it out I found out my Speedometer does not work. So I replaced the VSS and it did not fix it. The wires appear to be good. Looking for ideas what to check. Also the ignition switch is wore out. I can take the key out with it on.

Hello,

I am wondering if the sensor is not getting signal. Like it is missing the reluctor ring? While turning the driveshaft by hand connect a volt meter to it to see if you get any voltage from it.

Please run this test and get back to us so we can continue helping you.

Best, Ken

I haven't had time to get it back on the lift and check it. Do you mean the abs reluctor ring cause the abs light stays on to but that may be cause the emergency brake cable snapped when we tried to adjust it. Also the check engine light comes on haven't checked it yet since it's obd one can't plug my solus up to it
