Good to know. Having it tested is still a good idea but I am sure it will pass. Then do what is called a capacitive discharge. This means you remove both battery cables completely from the battery and touch the cables together for 10 seconds. This will force all modules to reboot and hopefully it will straighten this out.
If that doesn't work then we will need to have the software of the cluster updated because there are corrections out there for cluster inaccuracies and malfunctions.
I am asking you to do these things because I am hoping to avoid replacing the cluster. If you have the replace it then you need to order it through the dealer and have it installed because the mileage and VIN are programmed into it. Let me know what happens with each of these and we can go from there. Thanks
