There's dozens of possibilities, but probably the most common would be a noisy front wheel bearing. Your mechanic can identify that by running the engine on a hoist and listening next to each wheel bearing with a stethoscope.
Also consider a plastic inner fender rubbing on a tire, bad bearings in the radiator fan motor, wind turbulence over a wiper arm or side mirror, noisy bearings in an idler pulley for the serpentine belt, ...
