Normally this means there is an issue in the system and we should check for codes to see if there is anything that will point us in the correct direction.

If you want to try and just leave the key on for 30 minutes to see if the theft system will deactivate, you can try that. This is a "trick" that GM uses that will allowing the system to learn it is not being stolen but it may work with Nissan as I have been told it worked on a couple Honda's. So it is worth a try.
