Hi,

It could be the result of a few different things. The most common issue with these vehicles is the rear leaf spring shackle. I don't know where you are located, but these are known to rust and break. When that happens, the leaf spring will hit the bottom of the bed and make a noise.

Additionally, there are stabilizer links and a stabilizer bar that could have play. No matter what, make sure the wheels are tight. That seems to be becoming the new pandemic. People forget to properly tighten them.

I highlighted and circled the shackle. I circled the other things to check for play or damage. Make sure to also check the leaf springs to make sure none are cracked, and the shocks are tight.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

You are very welcome. I'm glad the problems have been resolved. However, I can't believe they charged that much for the repairs. That seems really high.

Regardless, please feel free to come back anytime in the future. You are always welcome.

Take good care of yourself,

Joe
