Hi,

There is a shift cable that goes from the shifter to the transmission. I suspect it has either broken or has come disconnected.

The easiest thing to do is locate the shift lever on the transmission and see if the cable is still attached. If it is, have a helper shift through the gears to see if the lever moves. If it doesn't and the cable isn't moving, chances are it came apart in the vehicle.

I attached two pics below. The first one shows the shift lever and cable on the transmission. The second shows it in the vehicle at the base of the shifter.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
