Shaking at high speed

Hello I have a ohv EFI engine in my SUV. So here is my issue: I noticed driving the SUV it is a bit wobbly like the lug nuts were loose or something. So I checked those and they were solid. I blew a tire few day ago tires were old so I replaced the tires with brand new ones and got a computerized alignment. Ride okay at low speed but going one bumps I noticed is still a bit wobbly and at high speed about fifty mph it shakes a bit, I got a free brake inspection the guy shook the rim and said it is moving you need new bearings. I just wondered what anyone's thoughts may be to fix this shake issue. I would like to have a solid straight secure no wobble or shake kind of ride. Can anyone help?

A bad wheel bearing can cause a vibration. However, there are other things too. Can you tell me, is this vehicle 4wd or only rear wheel drive? That will make a difference on what I recommend having you check.

It your wheel drive I believe. It is shaky when going high speed and over bumps.

Update: So I used the VIN decoder tool online and it says it is 2wd and I am pretty sure the 2wd is rear. Oh, also I have a p0136 code pop up. Any suggestions on what to do to fix this problem as well?

Welcome back.

Based on the description of the vibration, yes the wheel bearings can be an issue. If that does not remedy the issue, I would suspect a bent rim or even an alignment issue. And yes, if it is 2wd, the rear wheels are the drive wheels.

Now, the code you gave me is related to an oxygen sensor (O2 sensor). This is part of the emissions system for the vehicle. Here is a link which describes how it works:
