My vehicle shakes when I make a deep turn and shakes when I come to a complete stop sometimes and and I can't really go up big hill in it.

Hi,

Is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? It sounds like an engine misfire. Let me know.

If the check engine light does stay on, you need to have the computer scanned for diagnostics trouble codes. Here is a quick video showing how it's done:

I realize most people don't own a scanner, but often times a parts store will do it free of charge.

Let me know if the light is staying on.

Take care,
Joe

Okay, I do have a few other questions. First, you indicated it shakes when you stop. Does it continue after being stopped or is it during stopping? Also, if you can't go up steep hills, that is a power issue. Can you tell me if the engine is revving when climbing a hill but the vehicle doesn't accelerate or does it just seem to lose power and the RPM's drop?

Also, let me know if it is full time AWD or if you have a switch to select 2wd or 4wd.

Let me know.

It only shake when I come to complete stop it's only does it for a few seconds then stop. when going up hill it makes the revving only on steep hills. it's 4wd.

The idea that it revs when going up a hill but doesn't accelerate could mean the transmission is slipping. Have you checked the transmission fluid? The shaking you feel could be related to clutches slipping in the transmission.

Let me know if you have checked the fluid and its condition.

I had transmission and etc., checked and it's good. Do you think I need a tune up and something else done to front wheels?

That's a hard question to answer. First, I thought it was a misfire since there was a power loss, but you said the check engine light isn't staying on with the engine running. With the engine revving and not accelerating on hills, it sounded like the transmission was slipping, but that was already checked and okay.

The idea that it shakes when turning doesn't seem to tie together with a power loss. I have a feeling they are two different issues. When you feel the shaking while turning, is there any noise associated with it? Do you feel it in the steering wheel or throughout the vehicle? Have you checked the fluid in both the transfer case and front differential?

Let me know.

It shakes the whole car on deep turns, but it mostly feels like the two front wheels got something going on and I'll have to check transfer case.

Lets start at the transfer case. Make sure the fluid is clean and full. I remember something related to the transfer case that created a similar issue, but that was on the Quadra-Trac system. Is that what your vehicle has?

Also, make sure there is no clicking when making sharp turns, and check the front differential fluid.

Let me know what you find.
