I hit a curb causing my power steering computer to go out also giving off a service stabilitrak warning on dash. They said replace EGR valve and it would fix the problem. Did that and no effect. Check engine light is on due to cylinder six misfire. No ABS warning light. Could a bad wheel sensor cause the warning light and is there I certain scan tool I can buy to tell me what is going off in more depth?

My first thought is one of the ABS sensors at the wheels. However, that should turn on the ABS light. Yes, there are scanners which can check very specific components on the vehicle to see how things are working. They are designed to read live data while the vehicle is being used, running. However, when you start getting into scanners that can read more than engine codes, they get really expensive.

It does not really affect the way it runs unless roads are wet or slick then it will randomly act like it is losing power. I was hoping it would be the sensor. So there is no way to diagnose it myself?

Not unless you have a live data scanner.
