I had my van aligned and when my wife picked it up it had the yellow p in a circle warning light on dash which indicated something with the parking brake. When my wife turned off the van it then said, "Service Park Brake." It drives fine. I feel like when the dealership aligned it, they may have put it in the service brake mode and never took it out.

Please advise. Pictures Attached.

Thanks!

You are correct, they did need to put the car in service mode to align it. Here is how to clear the service mode and cancel the warning light.

BRAKE SERVICE MODE

The park brake actuator must be retracted in order to push the caliper piston back into the caliper housing for routine caliper/lining service.
The standard in the industry is to require a diagnostic scan tool to communicate with the ESC module to accomplish actuator retraction.
This vehicle has an industry first customer usable retraction method.
The routine is accessible through the radio touchscreen as a customer selectable option.
This option has built in fail safes to prevent unintended consequences.
Service mode is also available through the diagnostic scan tool.

1. Turn on the Ignition
2. Activate the Parking Brake
3. Press and Hold the Brake Pedal
4. Operate the Electronic Parking Brake Switch
5. Hold the electronic parking brake switch in the "Release" position for 5 seconds, then hold it in the "Apply" position for 5 seconds.

Please let us know what happens.
